In India there a few medical institutions established to provide access and services to the poor. How do the poor access health and medical services they need? Who looks after them? Tens of thousands of poor individuals living in the villages throughout the Vellore District in Tamil Nadu, India had minimal access health and medical care. It is difficult for these individuals to break out of the cycle of poverty if they do not have good health.
